How much paint do I need?
The volume of paint required for a job is a simple calculation. Just divide the square metre measurement (m2) of the area to be painted by the spread rate of the paint you’re applying (m2/l).
If you’re applying two coats, double the area. If you’re working out volumes for a primer, one coat is usually sufficient.

Valtti Color Plus is a full-matt, low build water-based translucent wood finish.
Valtti Color Plus penetrates into timber providing protection from moisture, UV and microbial growth.
For protection of wooden structures, fencing, cladding, furniture, most exterior applications. Suitable for sawn and planed timber, logs, thermally treated and impregnated wood. Valtti Color Plus can be applied by brush, spray or by dipping. The protectant is touch dry in 2 – 3 hours and re-coatable after 24 hours.
Valtti Color Plusis not suitable for decking.
