Helmi Primer is a water-based, matt acrylate primer for interior projects where good adhesion and a smooth finish really matter. It’s commonly used for furniture, cabinets, doors, window frames, skirtings and architraves.
Please Note:
MDF Surfaces: Helmi Primer is not suitable for MDF surfaces; we advise instead using Otex Adhesion Primer. As oil-based primers are for preferable on MDF.
Pine Surfaces: Helmi Primer is not suitable for pine surfaces. We advise using Tikkurila Multistop Primer, as this product features knot-blocking properties.
Recommended Wood Paint:
For best results Helmi Primer should be followed up with a topcoat from the Helmi range.
