Tikkurila Multistop Knot-Blocking Primer
Tikkurila Multistop is a water-based sealing primer for interior wood that prevents knot staining and yellowing. Multistop locks in resins and tannins to create a clean, stable base on panelling, furniture and wooden floors.
Important:
To ensure effective blocking, Multistop must not be overcoated too soon. As stated on the technical data sheet, it is “recoatable the following day.” Where possible, allow 24 hours before overcoating. If the primer has been applied heavily, or conditions are cool, damp, or poorly ventilated, allow longer. Overcoating too early may reduce the blocking performance.
