The Gaynor family have been advising people on industrial, commercial and decorative paint for the past 45 years. Kate’s parents Pat and Mary Gaynor met in the Dulux Paints (then HGW) laboratory in Cork in 1979 and fell in love over a tin of high-gloss trim paint! Kate’s brother Aaron is the companies Technical Director.

Advanced Coating Technology Ltd. is the company that Pat Gaynor set up in 1995 (www.advancedcoatings.ie) and it is Ireland’s number one Irish-owned company supplying industrial paint to machinery manufacturers, engineering companies, and paint shops nationwide. Kate took over the running of Advanced Coatings in 2011 and went on to diversify the business, opening The Paint Hub in 2019.

The Paint Hub specifically focuses on paint for Irish homes and businesses. Our family business provides a professional and trustworthy paint advice service for painting professionals and DIYers nationwide. Whether you are looking to paint your bathroom tiles or your roof tiles, your garage walls or the walls of your new baby’s nursery, we will advise you on exactly what coatings you need.
