Are the colours displayed on my computer/phone screen 100% accurate?
All computer and phone screens have different levels of brightness and resolution, meaning colours can vary between devices. We recommend that you purchase a tester pot and/or you are 100% confident in the colour you have chosen before ordering as paint is non-refundable.

Do you sell sample pots?
Yes, we offer sample pots in most of our paints. If a sample pot is available, it will be shown in the list of sizes available when choosing that product.

I want to paint my home but I don’t know what colours to choose, what do I do?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer colour consultancy. However, we do collaborate with colour consultant Lesley Kelly, you can find her on Instagram @5thwallcolourconsultant and Facebook @5th_wall_colour_consultant.

I purchased a tester pot but the colour isn’t true to what I thought it was
When tinting paint to small sizes such as tester pots, occasionally the amount of colourant that goes in to mix the paint is so small (as small as .1 of a ml in some cases) it may appear that the colour is not accurate to what was ordered. We ask customers to bear this in mind when purchasing tester pots.

I ordered 3 litres of paint but the tin says only 2.7 litres is inside, what does this mean? Prior to mixing paint, every tin of paint contains 2.7 litres. When a colour is chosen, we then add colourant to the paint to achieve the desired colour. This added colourant brings the quantity of paint up. Sometimes this brings the quantity to above 3 litres and sometimes still slightly below 3 litres, depending on how much colourant that paint colour requires.

How do I open my paint can?
One litre cans are opened with a can opener or a knife at the lid. Plastic three litre cans are opened by peeling the lid back where it reads ‘open’. Metal three and ten litre cans are opened by bending the metals strips outward up and away from the can. Insert a can opener into the small round opening and bend outwards, leaning the rest of the can opener on the can for leverage. Finngard Silicone Protect cans are opened with a can opener/knife and pushed directly up.
