When Declan made this amazing play house, himself and Aoife (@aoife_mcd1) wanted to be sure that they got good quality paint to protect it as well as decorate it so they decided to go with the super quality Tikkurila brand! They chose Valtti Opaque TVT 4988 (Blue) and TVT U106 (Yellow) to brighten it up! They also chose TVT 5051 water based decking oil to finish off the little veranda at the front. Valtti Opaque is our king of paint! It is Tikkurila’s premium, water-based exterior coating. It is extremely flexible so it will not crack, peel or blister. To give an extra layer of protection, it is a good idea to use Valtti priming oil first. This oil will penetrate the surface and slow the effects of moisture damage and the spread of mould growth.
