How much paint do I need?
The volume of paint required for a job is a simple calculation. Just divide the square metre measurement (m2) of the area to be painted by the spread rate of the paint you’re applying (m2/l).
If you’re applying two coats, double the area. If you’re working out volumes for a primer, one coat is usually sufficient.

Rostex Super
Solvent-based, quick-drying anti-corrosion primer for interior and exterior use.
Suitable for zinc-coated steel and roughened aluminium surfaces. Also suitable for use on copper, brass and stainless steel. Metal-sheeted roofs, water channels, other interior or exterior metal structures.
Application by brush, spray or roller.
Rostex Super is highly adhesive. A primer provides the combination with the best possible adhesion and durability even under harsh weather conditions. Rostex Super does not contain lead or chromate pigments.
