How much paint do I need?
The volume of paint required for a job is a simple calculation. Just divide the square metre measurement (m2) of the area to be painted by the spread rate of the paint you’re applying (m2/l).
If you’re applying two coats, double the area. If you’re working out volumes for a primer, one coat is usually sufficient.

Unica Super 20
Unica Super 20 is hard-wearing, semi-matt, urethane lacquer for interior and exterior use.
Exceptionally hard wearing urethane alkyd lacquer suitable for a wide range of interior and exterior applications - furniture, floors, boats and more difficult timber species.
Unica super lacquer contains UV protective agents which slow down the effects of UV and yellowing and can also be tinted to a wide range of translucent colours.
Unica Super can be used in colorless form, or tinted to the colors of the Interior Wood Stains and Lacquers and Valtti color cards. If the lacquer is too dark, it can be made lighter by adding colorless Unica Super or White Spirit 1050.
Unica Super is dust-dry in 2 hours and dry to handle after 6 hours. The next coat of lacquer can be applied after 24 hours. The lacquer reaches its final hardness and durability in approximately 4 weeks.
